DAY 1: DEPARTURE USA FOR TOKYO, JAPAN

Enjoy excellent in flight-service.

 

DAY 2: TOKYO (DINNER)

Arrive at Narita Airport. Meet with tour guide and transfer to hotel.

DAY 3: TSUKIJI FISH MARKET(NO AUCTION) - ASAKUSA- GINZA- AKIHABARA-IMPERIAL PALACE- MEIJI SHRINE - SHINJUKU (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)

Today we shall enjoy a tour in the capital of Japan, Tokyo. Our first stop today is Tsukiji Fish Market, the birthplace of Japanese ichthyic culture. Then Asakusa Kannon Temple, the oldest temple in Tokyo. Next we shall visit Ginza and Akihabara, the electronics mecca. Next up will be the Imperial Palace, the official residence of the Japanese Imperial Family. You will be able to stroll past and savor the beauty of cherry trees that only blossom during March and April. Then to visit the Meiji Shrine to commemorate the Meiji Emperor and Empress Showa. Shinjuku, which is renowned for being a shopper's paradise and a food haven. Tonight's dinner is on your own (guide will assist you).

DAY 4: Mt. FUJI (5TH STATION) – HAKONE– LAKE ASHI (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

In the morning we shall drive up to the world-famous, breathtaking Mt. Fujifs 5th Station (subject to weather conditions). Its beauty will take your breath away and leave you in awe of its splendor. Thereafter to Hakone, be mesmerized by its tranquility and scenic views. We shall embark on a serene and mesmerizing boat ride on Lake Ashi, which fills the crater of the extinct volcano Mt. Hakone. Tonight we are staying in a traditional hot spring hotel, and enjoy a special Japanese style dinner.

DAY 5: FUJI – TAKAYAMA (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

After breakfast, we transfer to visit Kamisannomachi Folk Street and Yatai Kaikan Hall that is a huge exhibition space located within the premises of the Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine. The hall is wholly dedicated towards housing the Takamaya Festival floats, which steal the show during the festival. These four ornate floats are adorned with beautiful carvings, awe-inspiring designs, richly decorated lanterns and other enhancements, which make these 23 foot structures a marvel to watch. These 17th Century floats assume great importance during the festival when they go out on the roads with their dazzling lights. The exhibition space is specially maintained for those tourists who miss the festival and wish to have a glance of these awe-striking floats.

DAY 6: TAKAYAMA-KYOTO ARASHIYAMA - KINKAKUJI (GOLDEN PAVILION) – KIYOMIZU TEMPLE (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)



Today we will visit Takayama Morning Market. Then we will proceed to enjoy the breeze and scenery of Arashiyama: to marvel at its captivating sceneries that are unsurpassed. Then we shall marvel at the magnificent Kinkakuji-Golden Pavilion, recipient of the World Cultural Heritage designation: just a glimpse of the Pavilion from any angle is an eye-opening feast. Another highlight is Kiyomizu Temple or"Pure Water"Temple, was founded in 788 C.E. in the Higashiyama hills in eastern Kyoto. It is named for the pure waters of a falls located on the site of the temple. The foremost significant cultural heritage in Kyoto, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This temple is constructed without any nails, which is a superior achievement by any standards.

DAY 7: KYOTO- NARA - OSAKA CASTLE – SHINSAIBASHI- OSAKA (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)

After breakfast,we proceed to Todaiji Temple, the world's largest wooden-built temple and Deer Park where numerous deer roam freely. Then we will visit Osaka, enjoy a memorable photo-taking session outside Osaka Castle, Shop at Shinsaibashi, the longest shopping street with an abundance of choices and enjoy a fantastic shopping experience. Tonight's dinner is on your own, select from the abundance of choices around Shinsaibashi.

DAY 8: OSAKA – USA (BREAKFAST)

After breakfast, transfer to Airport. Fly home with cherished memories!
