    Today we shall enjoy a tour in the capital of Japan, Tokyo. Our first stop today is Asakusa Kannon Temple, the oldest temple in Tokyo. Then we shall visit Akihabara, the electronics mecca. Then to proceed Tsukiji Outer Market, the birthplace of Japanese ichthyic culture.Next up will be the Imperial Palace, the official residence of the Japanese Imperial Family. You will be able to stroll past and savor the beauty of cherry trees that only blossom during March and April. Transfer to Kawaguchiko.

    After breakfast, we shall proceed to Kyoto – the old capital, noted for its preservation of ancient cultural heritage and scenic natural beauty for over a thousand years. This temple is constructed without any nails, which is a superior achievement by any standards. We shall marvel at the magnificent Kinkakuji-Golden Pavilion, recipient of the World Cultural Heritage designation; just a glimpse of the Pavilion from any angle is any eye-opening feast.

    In the morning, we shall stop at Biwako. Proceed to visit World Heritage Shirakawago. Leap into an old, fairy tale-like world and experience the picturesque harmony between the village and nature! Hidden away deep in the mountains is this quaint settlement in Shirakawa Village that is famous for its gassho-zukuri houses whose grand roofs resemble hands clasped in prayer. Many of these houses are still inhabited to this day, and together with their adjacent rice paddies, they paint an incredibly picturesque landscape that is a joy to behold and to take a stroll through. Then procced to Takayama old town.

    After breakfast, we shall visit Takayama Morning Market, Kamisannomachi Folk Street and Yatai Kaikan Hall that is a huge exhibition space located within the premises of the Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine. The hall is wholly dedicated towards housing the Takayama Festival floats, which steal the show during the festival. These four ornate floats are adorned with beautiful carvings, awe-inspiring designs, richly decorated lanterns and other enhancements, which make these 23 foot structures a marvel to watch. These 17th Century floats assume great importance during the festival when they go out on the roads with their dazzling lights. The exhibition space is specially maintained for those tourists who miss the festival and wish to have a glance of these awe-striking floats. We shall embark Matsumoto Castle which is one of the most complete and beautiful among Japan’s original castles, i.e. the castles whose keeps have survived the post-feudal ages intact. Proceed to Lake Kawaguchiko. We will view Mr. Fuji(subject to weather conditions.).

    After breakfast, we shall proceed to Oshino Hakkai which is a touristy set of eight ponds in Oshino, a small village in the Fuji Five Lake region, located between Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Yamanakako on the site of a former sixth lake that dried out several hundred years ago.Then we will proceed to Tokyo Metropolitan Observatory that has become the face of the West Side of Shinjuku Station. You can see all of Tokyo from the popular 202-meter high observation decks, located on the 45th floor of Main Building No. 1. Next the Imperial Palace, the official residence of the Japanese Imperial Family. Next up will be Tokyo Tower and Asakusa Sensoji Temple. It is one of Tokyo’s most colorful and popular temples. A variety of traditional and distinctive souvenirs are available.

    We arrive at Beppu with anticipation after an overnight ferry ride. Beppu is renowned for being a spa haven, one of Japan’s most famous onsen resorts. Today’s highlights are the Sea Hell and Blood Pool. As for the torture of Blood Pond, its feature is the vermilion colored water as the name suggests. Amazed at its sight, we will learn what creates this natural phenomenon. This tornado hell is specified as the natural treasure of Beppu. It seems that the water underground heated to 150 degrees blows off at a stretch with a rise of pressure, and height is reached to about 50m. Thereafter we shall proceed to visit Glover Garden, a famous garden with the statue of Madame Butterfly, inflicting memories of a romantic love story. Later on we shall proceed to the Oura Church which is the most famous Christian Church.

    After breakfast, we shall proceed to Fukuoka. Then visit Moji which was one of five cities that merged to form Kitakyushu City in 1963. It is the closest municipality of Kyushu in proximity to Honshu. Next Proceed to Akiyoshi cave, the largest limestone cave in East Asia and also the largest plateau in Japan. .

    In the morning, we will visit Hiroshima’s Peace Memorial Park which is one of the most prominent features of the city.The park’s main facility is the Peace Memorial Museum.The A-Bomb Dome, also known as the Hiroshima Peace Memorial, is what remains of the former Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall. In the Kurashiki Canal area, visitors can enjoy a quaint landscape with Japanese-style storehouses with white walls, namako walls, and rows of willows. The townscape with about 400-year-old traditional buildings and the retro-modern view along the Kurashiki River continue to attract people from around the world.

    Himeji Castle, also known as White Heron Castle (Shirasagijo) due to its elegant, white appearance, is widely considered Japan’s most spectacular castle for its imposing size and beauty and its well preserved, complex castle grounds. The castle is both a national treasure and a World Heritage Site. Unlike many other Japanese castles, it was never destroyed by war, earthquake or fire and survives to this day as one of the country’s twelve original castles. Thereafter we shall proceed to the Hiroshima Peace Park in memory of those who perished in the atomic bombings, it stands as a testament of peace. Our finale is Korakuen, a renowned garden preserved from the 17th century that ingeniously incorporates Nature. It took 14 years for the completion of Korakuen, which is now one of the most famous gardens in Japan. Water is used to divert river water to create meandering streams, ponds and cascades in the garden. Thereafter we shall proceed to Kobe China Town. Then we will visit Shinbashi.

    Today’s highlight is Otaru, which is a traditional fishing village as well as a fishing hub. Its architecture style is a combination of 19th century Western & Japanese influence, it also exhumes. Be mesmerized akin to a foreign town. We shall visit the Sakaimachi Kitaichi Garasukan that is most famous for their souvenir glass art in Otaru and the Music Box Museum that is one of the largest museum shops of music boxes, orgel, in Japan. The beautiful century-old building, designated as one of historic landmarks of Otaru City, is full of music boxes in various sizes and types. We shall proceed to Odori Park that is the city’s most famous park in the very center of downtown Sapporo. We will visit Sapporo Clock Tower that is a symbol of Sapporo. In 1881 a clock purchased from Boston was installed. Today, the Clock Tower serves as a museum with displays about the building’s history and Sapporo on the first floor. On the second floor are displays about the clock and a spacious ceremony hall that calls to mind the simple buildings of the colonial American Midwest. We will visit Beer Factory.

    The Okurayama Viewing Point is one of Sapporo’s most famous sightseeing spots and the venue for the 1972 Winter Olympics. Our Highlight today is Noboribetsu Hell Valley that marvels at the dream-like smoky ashes surrounding the valley. As you walk around you will be mesmerized by its mythical atmosphere. Thereafter we shall proceed to the exciting Ainu Village. You shall be greeted by the natives of Hokkaido, the Ainu tribe, in the manner of an insightful Ainu performance. Be mesmerized by Mt. Showa, formed after an earthquake in 1944; it emerged from the ground & having experienced several other earthquakes, it is now what is known as an active volcano standing 407 feet. Next we shall proceed to Lake Toya which is part of the Shikotsu-Toya national Park. In addition to the lake itself, the Toyako region features hot springs that is famous throughout Japan and an active volcano, Mount Usu, which last erupted in the year 2000. The area also offers many fishing, hiking and camping opportunities. Enjoy a relaxing hot spring bath tonight.
